Kerabit 3200 UTL Fleece is a line-torch-on (K-TMS 170/3200 torch-on) underlay membrane of product category 2 for multi-layer roofing. The product also serves as an underlay (AKE and AKK 1) for non-continuous roofing and as a vapour-barrier membrane (BH 1).

The carrier is of polyester. The lower surface of the product is torch-on bitumen and the upper surface is polypropylene non-woven fabric.

The product has been approved for use in buildings with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel.

Applications

The product is used as an underlay membrane for multi-layer roofing, as an underlay for non-continuous roofing and as a vapour-barrier membrane.

Handling and storage 

Modified bitumen membranes are stored on pallets in a dry and cool place in an upright position. The rolls must be protected with plastic hoods or tarps. In temperatures in excess of +40 °C, the rolls must be stored away from sunlight.
