Applications
This product is intended to repair minor damage to bituminous coatings, for unsealed joints and splices. Bitumen putty is highly suitable to be used together with Kerabit Bitumen Paint. Contains adhesion improving agents.
Instructions for use
Clean the damaged area. Apply the putty with a spatula or with a stiff paintbrush. when necessary, reinforce the damaged area with non-woven fabric that is pressed into the bitumen putty. Then apply a new layer of putty on top of the fabric. The roof can be treated with Kerabit Bitumen Paint after a thin film has developed on the surface of the putty Clean the tools with white spirit.
Handling and storage
To be stored in a closed container in a dry place protected from sunlight. To be kept at room temperature for a minimum of 1 day before use.
Prevention of environmental hazards
This product must not be poured into a sewer. Liquid waste must be transported to a waste collection point for hazardous waste. Empty, dry containers can be recycled or, if this option is unavailable, transported to a public landfill.
