Veg Tech sedum-moss green roof structure is generally particularly well suited for sites where a thicker growing medium cannot be installed due to its weight. Generally, a VT-Filt felt mat and a Xerodrän drainage layer should be installed under the vegetation blanket. This structure weighs approximately 50 kg/m2 and is roughly 55 mm in height. The structure is recommended for roof pitches 1:15...1:50.
There must always be a waterproofing membrane with a root barrier underneath the green roof.
