Kerabit KBL 20/100 Modified Bitumen Primer

Kerabit KBL 20/100 Modified Bitumen Primer is a cold-applied, nicely spreading, quick-drying modified bitumen solution containing adhesion improving agents.

Kerabit KBL 20/100 forms an excellent underlay for an isolation layer made of Kerabit KB 100/50 modified bitumen or of torch-applied modified bitumen membranes. For adhesive application on demanding substrates (concrete and metal surfaces) when modified bitumen or torch-applied modified bitumen membranes are used. Mix before use.

The product is not for use indoors.

Applications

For adhesive application on demanding substrates (concrete and metal surfaces) when modified bitumen or torch-applied modified bitumen membranes are used.

Instructions for use

Brush, roll or spray cleaned surfaces once with Kerabit KBL 20/100 modified bitumen solution. When necessary, dry the surfaces before treatment. The material need is 0,1 - 0,3 l/m². Let the modified bitumen solution fully dry before further treatment. Drying time about one hour at +20 ^oC. Clean the tools with white spirit or mineral spirit.

Handling and storage

In a closed container in a dry place protected from sunlight.

Prevention of environmental hazards

The product must be prevented from entering sewers, waterways or soil. Liquid waste must be transported to a waste collection point for hazardous waste, and empty, dry containers for recycling or, if this option is unavailable, to a public landfill.
